Who we serve
Small and midsize businesses in two demanding, regulation-heavy industries: maritime operators managing navigation and fire/gas safety compliance, and cross-border road hauliers navigating the EU's posting-declaration, cabotage, and reporting requirements.
These are businesses where the people doing the real work — running a fleet, keeping a vessel compliant, serving customers — are too often also the ones stuck doing the paperwork. We think that's a solvable problem, not a fact of life.
What we won't build
Northlight does not build safety-critical software. Our tools handle the administrative and regulatory work around safety-relevant equipment and processes — scheduling, documentation, tracking, drafting — never the safety-relevant decision itself. That line matters to us, and it isn't going to move.
